Appropriate Technology -- 3rd Workshop: "Design for Life"

2012-12-19 (Wed) 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

The workshop series Appropriate Technology "Design for Life" takes a look at appropriate technology for connecting social contributions, manufacturing, and business through workshops and other activities. In this third workshop on Thursday, December 19, KAKEI Yusuke, a representative of issue+design and leading person in the social design field, will speak about how to identify societal problems.
With regard to societal problems, in addition to solving such problems, knowing what problems exist and determining which problem to be addressed are equally important. In addition to publishing the books Design Changing Community, Eichi Publishing Inc., and Practical Guidelines for Social Design, Eichi Publishing Inc., Mr. Kakei has been involved in many projects such as "Changing Japanese maternal and child health handbooks," "Community Travel Guide," and "Marriage Hunting."
