Scintillating Café "What is single-molecule DNA sequencing?"

Genes are once more involved in the topic of this café. If high-speed decoding of DNA is achieved, genetic-level understanding of human body conditions and individual tailor-made medical treatment may become possible. Professor TANIGUCHI will speak about the latest research results in this field.

What is the Osaka University Research Council?

The Osaka University Research Council promotes mutual cooperation among these research institutes and centers in supporting young researchers with outstanding abilities and actively contributing to research communities in the world.

What is a Scintillating Café?

Scintillating Café is the name for an informal seminar sponsored by Osaka University Research Council and the Support Office for Large-Scale Education and Research Projects. The Scintillating Cafés invite researchers and serve as forums for dialogue between researchers and citizens. The organizers hope that participants can appreciate these chances to learn about next-generation environmental technology and bioscience in these Cafés.
