2013 Osaka Symposium of The Physical Society of Japan -- "'Big Science' opening up a new horizon ~ toward big mysteries and challenging enormous projects"

This symposium is the annual Osaka Symposium of The Physical Society of Japan. For the symposium this year, we have invited 4 excellent researchers as lecturers to speak on the theme of "'Big Science' opening up a new horizon ~ toward big mysteries and challenging enormous projects." This symposium is being held on Saturday, October 26 and will deal with enormous projects here referred to as "The Big Science," projects taking place at large research institutions with large numbers of researchers. Our four lecturers will explain about giant global projects such as Higgs Boson, cosmic evolution, quarks, and dark matter in an easy-to-understand way.
