Labo Café & Talk between Immununity Professor "Kuro" and his secretary -- "Sensei, what is immunity?"

2013-10-25 (Fri) 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

It is said that if one has already had an infectious disease such as measles, one can't get it again. This is related to a function called immunological memory. KUROSAKI Tomohiro, a leading person in the field of immunological memory, will talk about his work and his secretary, who has a humanities background, will insert incisive questions as he talks to prevent the audience from being overwhelmed by "Kuro's" technical jargon.

How about joining this immune "Kuro" café, a passionate dialogue between the professor and the secretary?

What is Lab Café?

A major program instituted at Art Area B1 is the "Lab Café," designed and implemented by the Center for the Study of Communication-Design. The Lab Café is an interactive program in which participants have wide-ranging discussions on a variety of topics. The program aims to make the station a communication space in the arts and academia by taking up various themes in philosophy, art, science and technology and providing the general public with chances to be exposed to expertise on those topics.
