Risk Management Seminar 2013, Osaka

Osaka University's Graduate School of Engineering and the Koukyo Network Association will jointly hold Risk Management Seminar 2013 in the Disaster and Crime Prevention Expo at Intex Osaka on Thursday, October 17. This seminar is intended for persons in charge of crime prevention, disaster prevention, and risk management at national and municipal governments, risk management companies, as well as researchers and legal practitioners so that they will be more able to contribute to risk management, including response to earthquakes, disaster prevention, and crime prevention.
Regarding the national land strengthening plan and countermeasures against earthquakes for public transportation systems, new proposals on national risk management through university-industry-government cooperation will be made.
