Career Symposium: Career Development in Global Society -- "In order to be knowledgeable and active in the world"

2012-12-11 (Tue) 1:00 p.m. - 4:50 p.m.

Osaka University set up the Working Group for Reviewing Career Development Education within the Education and Information Office in March 2011 in order to provide education for developing the fullest potential of students. The working group has examined career education being conducted at universities in Japan and abroad, career support education at our university, promotion of practical education through internships in Japan and abroad, and reviewed the university-wide support for career path development. As part of this review, the working group will be holding a career symposium Career Development in Global Society -- "In order to be knowledgeable and active in the world" for OU students on Tuesday, December 11.

In this symposium, SUGIMOTO Kaoru, Japan for UNHCR and Ecom Dong Wook, personnel management specialist in an international company, will answer questions such as what ability is necessary for working in a society of ever-intensifying globalization and what type of personnel international organizations and companies are seeking.

This symposium will give you hints and tips on how to create and develop your career. All students are cordially invited to this symposium.
