2012 Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences Courses -- "Drugs and Medical Care"

2012-11-10 (Sat) - 2012-12-1 (Sat)

Theme: How can pharmacists respond to changes in the social and medical environments?

Following the adoption of the six-year system by schools of pharmaceutical sciences in 2006, pharmacists and pharmaceutical researchers are now required to possess a broader spectrum of specialized knowledge.
Therefore, in these courses based on current knowledge ranging from the basics to clinical situations, leading researchers will speak about current issues and the future outlook for medicines and medical treatment in a variety of fields.
Major topics for this year's lectures are "Radioactivity" --a topic that has attracted a lot of attention since the accidents at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plants last year-- and "Organ Regeneration," an area of recent developments.

Individuals in university, industry, and government who are active in medical treatment will discuss how pharmacists may make contributions in university, industry, and government.

We look forward full attendance.
