Writing an Ethnographical Report

The Global Collaboration Center (GLOCOL) will hold a series of four seminars on ethnography on Saturdays beginning from October 13, 2012.

Have you heard of ethnography? Ethnography is a word consisting of two roots: ethno (people) and graphy (to write). Ethnography is branch of anthropology that deals with the scientific description of individual human societies. However, currently, ethnography is frequently used as a way to identify problems and/or solve them.

In these seminars, participants will consider ethnography and ways it can relate to society.

Dates: 4 sessions: October 13, 20, December 15, and [in 2013] January 12.

Quota: about 30

Participants must submit a topic for their report by the deadline for applications, Monday, October 1.
