Forum on Earthquake Disaster Renaissance -- Looking back on March 11: Thinking about Disaster Prevention and Recovery from Disaster

A year has passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake devastated large areas of the Tohoku. The Center for Nonprofit Research & Information of the Osaka School of International Public Policy (OSIPP) will hold the "Forum on Earthquake Disaster Renaissance -- Looking back on March 11: Thinking about Disaster Prevention and Recovery from Disaster" on Saturday, March 10.

In this forum, participants will look back on the recovery process that has followed this disastrous earthquake and examine future challenges. Participants will also examine preparations for projected major disasters such as the Tonankai and Nankai Earthquakes, both from the viewpoint of infrastructure improvement and education activities.
