Not far behind Japan and the USA is the manga market of France, referred to as BDs or bande dessinées [in English, literally "drawn strips"]. BDs have recently been attracting many manga fans in Japan and at this 15th Manga Café on Sunday, February 19, HARA Masato, a BD translator and researcher, will introduce persons attending to the high quality BD world, reporting ahead of others in Japan on the world's largest manga festival, Festival International de la Bande Dessinée d'Angoulême (Angoulême International Comics Festival).

Interested persons are invited to attend. No admission fee is charged and prior registration is not necessary. Just come if you're interested!
