5th Seminar on Professional Japanese Language Instruction Research, Osaka University

2012-2-15 (Wed) 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Center for International Education and Exchange will hold a seminar on Japanese instruction for international students on Wednesday, February 15. Since the Council of Europe announced the "Common European Framework of Reference for Languages" in 2001, many nations have begun to review their foreign language instruction curricula, taking the framework as a common standard.

Regarding Japanese language instruction for international students, the continuation of learning instruction provided by universities sending students abroad and universities accepting those students continues to present major challenges.

With this in mind, in this seminar, movements concerning the common framework and standards will be reviewed. Citing the curriculum of Japanese instruction provided by the Center for International Education and Exchange, how Japanese instruction at the university level will respond to such movements will also be discussed.

Date: 2012-2-15 (Wed) 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
