Dementia Forum open to the Public

In Japan's rapidly aging society, Osaka City faces an aging population just like other cities in Japan. Thus, supporting persons suffering from dementia and assisting the families taking care of such persons in their homes poses a big challenge.
This forum aims to provide citizens with accurate information about dementia, both to family caregivers and professionals. It will also introduce medical and social services that are available and approaches taken at Osaka University regarding ways to support the quality of life for people with dementia in cooperation with medical care and nursing
