The Energy Problem

Although on the one hand our life styles are comfortable thanks to our consumption of large amounts of energy, let us take a look and consider the lives of the people living in the lands where this energy comes from. Join us in thinking about our energy choices, environmental problems, and the effects our choices have on the natural environment and the local population.

ANEZAKI Shoji, PhD. in Engineering from The University of Tokyo (1985); Student of Doctoral Course, Graduate School of Human Sciences, Osaka University; former Chief Research Editor, Integrated Institute of Technology, Sumitomo Metal Industries, Ltd. will speak about "Life, Energy, and the Environment" on Thursday, January 19 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
