U.S. Intellectual Property Seminar -- Important Points in the US Patent Law Reform and Patent Strategies in the Future

Office for University-Industry Collaboration will hold a seminar about US Intellectual Property on Thursday, February 2. In an easy-to-understand way, Dr. Akiko KOBAYASHI, US Patent Attorney, will speak about how changes in the U.S. Patent Law will affect its patent system by comparing "before" and "after" in the patent law reform. She will also talk about the possible impact on strategies for universities and research institutes, citing concrete examples. This seminar aims to increase the understanding and awareness of participants regarding US patent law in an interactive informal way.

Not only practitioners and specialists, but also general citizens are cordially welcome to attend. The organizers look forward to questions and opinions from participants.
