Scientific and Industrial Techno Salon to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of Osaka University's Founding -- "Toward a Bright Future for Japan"

Osaka University's Institute of Scientific and Industrial Research, known as Sanken for short, holds a Sanken Techo Salon, a get-together with lectures for business persons four times a year.

The next Sanken Techno Salon will be held on Monday, November 7. In this event commemorating the 80th anniversary of Osaka University's founding, results of Sanken-sponsored research and their prospects --"Toward a Bright Future for Japan"-- will be presented accompanied by lectures. It is hoped that persons active in new fields and in cooperation between different fields will discuss new university-industry cooperation directed toward the development of new industries.

There is no participation fee for attending this seminar; however, except for Research Association of lndustry and Science (Sanken Techno Salon) members, Osaka University faculty, staff, and students, a party fee of 3,000 yen will be requested from persons attending the after-seminar party.
