2011 Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences Course -- Drugs and Medical Care

2011-11-26 (Sat) - 2011-12-3 (Sat)

The Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences will hold a course open to the public on Saturday, November 26 and Saturday, December 3. Following the adoption of the six-year system by schools of pharmaceutical sciences in 2006, pharmacists and pharmaceutical researchers are now required to possess a broader spectrum of specialized knowledge.

In these courses, based on current knowledge ranging from basics to clinical situations, leading researchers will speak about current issues and the future outlook for medicines and medical treatment in a variety of fields.

Moreover, leading individuals from university, industry, and government involved in medical treatment will speak about cancer therapies and generic medicines. Regarding cancer therapies, the focus will be on approaches by nurses involving anticancer drugs, palliative care and trends in pharmaceutical companies. As for generic drugs, the focus will be on increasing the number of generic drugs available from pharmacists, pharmaceutical companies, and the government.

We look forward to full attendance.
