The 2011-2012 Osaka University Adult Education Program: "Technological Strategies for Exploring the Future -- Elucidation of the Technological Frontier"

We can't change the past, but we can change the future...

Economic growth, securing resources and energy, and environmental protection... These three goals sometimes conflict with one another and parties involved in achieving them frequently compete. This seminar in the adult education program by the Graduate School of Engineering will discuss the possibility of engineering technology solving these problems in the present and for the future through the introduction of advanced technology in various fields.

Challenges facing advanced technology and detailed information about such technology will be introduced during the 4 weeks regarding the formation of sustainable local communities and the seeds of industrial technology contributing to creating such sustainable local communities.

Two classes each day will be held : 6:00 ~ 7:20 p.m. and 7:40 ~ 9:00 p.m. for a total of 8 classes.

Adults: ¥1,000 / class

Students: ¥500 / class
