1st 2011 Gender Equality Seminar -- Balancing Work and Family and Gender Equality

The Gender Equality Promotion Office at Osaka University holds seminars every year for the purpose of promoting gender equality based on the Handai [Osaka University] Principles. The first seminar in the 2011-2012 academic year will be held on Monday, October 3.

Aiming at further promotion of the work-life balance at Osaka University, in this seminar researchers active on the front lines will talk about experiences of balancing research and child-rearing. They will also look at the current situations of the on-campus nursery schools and research supporters system which are some of the important measures to promote work-family balance at Osaka University.

This is one seminar that many faculty, staff and students won't want to miss.
