Class for users of the AFP database

On Thursday, July 14, there will be a class for users of the database of Agence France-Presse (AFP), the French news agency. This database contains 8 million still photographs and some 40,000 short movies. We are able to use it through the end of March 2012. 

The class will cover how to make use of the database as well as the content of the agreement under which we make use of the database.

This class is intended for: Osaka University students, faculty, and staff.

Persons attending this class are requested to go to login page at the following URL and set up a personal account. When setting up your account, use your Osaka University email address (**@** as your User ID. Next, input a password of your choice. After this, following the instructions, please look around the AFP database and familiarize yourself with its contents.
