National Simultaneous Tanabata Lectures

2011-7-7 (Thu) 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

National Simultaneous Tanabata Lectures were held last year and ended on a high note with great attendance. Tanabata Lectures will be again held this year on the evening of Thursday, July 7.

You may have a lot of questions about the universe: Where are the stars Orihime, [Weaving Princess] and Hikoboshi [Cow Herder] in the night skies? Where does the universe end? What is a black hole? Are aliens for real? Does life exist on other planets? An Associate Professor of the Graduate School of Science, Osaka University will discuss interesting topics such as these.
