How about enjoying a "science café" at the Museum of Osaka University?
Science cafés are special events at the Museum of Osaka University. Events in which, in a relaxed atmosphere with a cup of coffee in one hand, you consider and discuss science with researchers, specialists actually engaged in conducting scientific research! Science cafés are events for anyone, giving citizens the opportunity to bridge and enjoy bridging the communication gap between the specialist and the common person.
Won't you please come?
- Cafés are held from 2:00 ~ 3:30 p.m. on the days noted. (See the schedule by going here.)
- Each café is limited to a maximum of 30 persons
- Fee: A beverage fee of ¥200 is the only fee requested from attendees. Otherwise, there is no charge for attending!
- Making application: There are several science cafés scheduled between June and October. Applications are accepted during the period of 2 months prior to a café and up to 1 month prior to that café.
- How to make application: There are two methods for making application.

Using a postcard with an attached reply postcard (purchasable at any post office), write the (a) name of the café you'd like to attend, (b) your address, (c) your name, (d) phone number, (e) age. If you will be attending with family members, please include their name(s) and age(s).
