UN policy expert development program -- Guidance for career development in international organizations

2011-4-25 (Mon) 1:00 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.

As part of the UN policy expert development program, a guidance for career development in international organizations will be held on Monday, April 25.

International organizations such as the United Nations and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development need specialists who can deal with global issues of peace, safety, security, development, economics, trade, health, education, and environment. The number of Japanese workers working in such organizations is small; thus, Japanese who can be active on the world stage are being sought.

This guidance will be held for students hoping to work in international organizations in the future. ITO Yorio, director, Recruitment Center for International Organizations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and NAKATANI Otsuka Yoshie, OECD, Tokyo Centre will speak about their experiences and career paths. General citizens are also welcome to this program.
