Global COE "In Silico Medicine" -- 13th Regular Symposium of Center for Advanced Medical Engineering and Informatics

2011-3-3 (Thu) 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The Center for Advanced Medical Engineering and Informatics will hold its 13th regular symposium of the Global COE "In Silico Medicine" on Thursday, March 3.

Motor functions of the body are very important for adapting to the environment and for body maintenance. The body receives sensory input from the outside world and from inside the body and robust motor output to stimulation occurs with a high degree of accuracy.

This symposium will focus on the senses and motor mechanisms of the body, discussing multi-scale and multi-modal control mechanisms and movement of the body from clinical, biological, and engineering viewpoints, thereby conducting in silico examinations.

Date: 2011-3-3 (Thu) 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Organizer: Global COE program, The Center for Advanced Medical Engineering and Informatics, Osaka University
Venue: Large Conference Room, 3rd floor, Icho Kaikan
