Sustainabilty Design Extension, #9

As an activity to promote sustainability, Osaka University will hold a ten-part series of extension seminars regarding sustainability on Wednesdays beginning from November 11, 2010. Individuals who take seven or more classes will receive a certificate of completion from Osaka University President WASHIDA Kiyokazu.

Individuals interested in participating in this seminar are cordially invited to make application to do so.


Sustainability of Urban Transportation

The lecturers will deal with an overview of designing urban transportation systems, how to make traffic strategies while keeping designing sustainable communities in mind, package approaches for achieving goals, and methods for building regional traffic strategies.
