Sustainabilty Design Extension, #2

As an activity to promote sustainability, Osaka University will hold a ten-part series of extension seminars regarding sustainability on Wednesdays beginning from November 11, 2010. Individuals who take seven or more classes will receive a certificate of completion from Osaka University President WASHIDA Kiyokazu.

Individuals interested in participating in this seminar are cordially invited to make application to do so.


Sustainability of Urban Systems

In order to realize a low-carbon society, one of the elements of a sustainable society, urban energy systems must be optimized. The lecturers will speak about designing air conditioning systems based on, first, the method of control and then the expected environment and types of buildings planned.
