Sustainabilty Design Extension, #1

2010-11-10 (Wed) 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

As an activity to promote sustainability, Osaka University will hold a ten-part series of extension seminars regarding sustainability on Wednesdays beginning from November 11, 2010. Individuals who take seven or more classes will receive a certificate of completion from Osaka University President WASHIDA Kiyokazu.

Individuals interested in participating in this seminar are cordially invited to make application to do so.


Regional Sustainability

Our aging society coupled with a shrinking population faces the challenge of how vital services will be maintained and managed in local communities, locales doomed to be marginal settlements.

The lecturers will speak about this topic from a geographical point of view.
