Symposium: "The Rise of the Environmental Risk Manager"

Osaka University's advanced program "Environmental Risk Management" provides environmental risk manager training both to graduate students and working persons. A symposium with special open lectures is being planned as a part of this advanced program. Including the Chairperson of The Society for Risk Analysis Japan, two speakers will deliver lectures and two persons will deliver overviews coupled with greetings. During the Special Lecture, working persons will share insights into the necessity for risk management techniques employed in their communities in order to reduce the damage from disasters.

We look forward to the participation of many persons interested in these and related topics.
