The Center for Interdisciplinary Research and Education will hold the following events:

• Student Exchange & Interdisciplinary Research and Education Seminar ("Exchange Seminar")

Part 1: October 2 (Friday), 1:00 p.m. - October 3 (Saturday), 12:00 noon (overnight)
Part 2: October 16 (Friday), 1:00 p.m. - October 17 (Saturday), 12:00 noon (overnight)
Venue: Cosmosquare Hotel and Congress (Nanko, Osaka)
Intended for: Graduate students (undergraduates are also accepted)

Quota: 50 persons for each part.
Participation fee: There is no participation fee. Registration in advance is required.

• Opening symposium "The New Type of Influenza and Countermeasures--What should be the Response of Global Society?"

• Advanced Minor Program Fair "Start with Your Specialty plus Something"

Date & Time: October 16 (Friday), 2:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Venue: Library Hall, 6th floor, Osaka University Main Library
Intended for: Persons taking the lecture and individuals interested in advance minor programs, university-related people
