The 4th Open Seminar on Environmental Risks -- Recent Trends in Negotiations on Global Warming

The Environmental Risk Manager Development Program (Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka University) will hold an Open Seminar on environmental risks.
A lecture will be given on the latest topics: the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), Tenth Conference of the Parties (COP10) to be held in Nagoya in 2010, the International Year of Biodiversity defined by the UN from the viewpoint of environmental risks, and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (FCCC), 15th Conference of the Parties (COP15) defining goals for greenhouse gas reduction.
Individuals interested in participating in this seminar are cordially invited to make application to do so.

by HIRAISHI Takahiko, senior consultant, Institute for Global Environmental Strategies. He will talk about problems concerning negotiations on global warming pacts, including the latest topics.
