The Osaka University Leaders Forum is an event to provide a place of interaction for managers and executives who are alumni of Osaka University/Osaka University of Foreign Studies. This year, the event will be held on Osaka University's Toyonaka Campus.

We hope that this forum proves useful for your future endeavors as a place for information exchange and networking.

Lecturer Profile

SUENOBU Noriko

Corporate officer, R&D Planning, Pola Chemical Industries, Inc.

A Kobe native, Ms. Suenobu completed the master's program in the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Osaka University in 1991, entering Pola Chemical Industries in the same year.

In 2002, she began research and development on anti-wrinkle quasi-drugs, and in 2015, took her position as Corporate Officer in charge of R&D Planning at Pola Chemical Industries Inc.

In 2017, her anti-wrinkle quasi-drug, the first quasi-drug cosmetic to be approved by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, was put on sale to the public, and she was awarded with the 2018 Nikkei Woman of the Year Award. She took her current position in 2018.
