What's NEW

57th Osaka University Machikane Festival (11/4 - 11/6)

2016-11-4 (Fri) - 2016-11-6 (Sun)

At the Machikane Festival (sometimes referred to as the "Autumn Festival") on the Toyonaka campus, one can enjoy a variety of events such as stage performances, refreshment booths, academic presentations, and various outdoor performances.

The theme for the 57th Machikane Festival is "Connecting with the Future 'Me' (Mirai no watashi to tsunagaru toki)." From the attendees of the festival, to the individual students running their own projects, to the executive committee of the festival itself, everyone can make new acquaintances and discoveries at the Machikane Festival. We have chosen this theme in hopes that the Machikane Festival can be an impetus for those involved in the festival to experience a huge change within themselves, and perhaps connect with a more different version of their future selves.

High school students and members of the local community are also welcome to attend.
