Osaka University Top Global University Project RENKEI Symposium Social Innovation Action 2016: "Knowing Each Other" - Networking for New Collaboration

2016-9-2 (Fri) 13:30 -

Today, business activity with social contributions at its core is attracting attention worldwide not just as a way to solve social problems, but also as an opportunity for new business and as a place for exchange and formation of knowledge.

The topic of this symposium is "Knowing Each Other."
What kind of people are the individuals who are actually advancing social innovation in sectors such as business, government (national and regional), university, and private organizations, known as "player supporters"?

Moving forward, who can come together to start new innovation? In what form is collaboration possible, and in what kinds of problem areas? In Part 1, we'll hear proposals from multiple viewpoints to expand this image, and in Part 2, we'll have the opportunity to exchange opinions and do some networking.
(Simultaneous interpretation is available for lectures held in English.)

A number of individuals from various sectors will be in attendance, so we hope that this symposium will serve as an opportunity to meet, discuss, and perhaps even begin collaboration with other attendees. We hope to see you there.
