After receiving positive feedback from private businesses, university-related personnel, and students for the year and half since its launch, the Lean LaunchPad Program will once again be recruiting students for its 3rd class during this academic year. LLP is a practice course in which participants can learn the methods of starting up a high-tech business used in Silicon Valley.

We will be holding one-on-one, face-to-face in interviews with actual potential businesses, and apply business plans that can lead to new businesses and innovation. This training course is one in which you will quickly acquire practical skills to create new businesses from research results using technology from the university.

In Japan, Osaka University is the only university to offer the Lean LaunchPad Program to utilize technology from universities. Through practical learning in which students draw up a commercialization plan for science technology being developed at Osaka University and other institutions, students will find promising uses for research results that have yet to find use or market creation potential, and acquire the skills that will lead to commercialization and innovation.
