Rakugo and a Comedy Talk Session at Homecoming 2016!

Homecoming Day is an event for alumni and staff from Osaka University and Osaka University of Foreign studies to come together and deepen friendships as an "OU Family." This year, for the very first time, an OU alumnus will be making an appearance as a rakugoka, a type of storyteller popular in Japan. Later, we'll be holding a comedy talk session on Osaka and Nakanoshima with a number of popular artists, which is sure to be a treat. On Homecoming Day, the spring festival, "Icho Festival," will also be in full bloom! We will also have childcare services available. We hope you bring along your friends and family and have a great time at OU! Please come and spend your day on the vibrant, green Toyonaka campus along with current students, their families, and members of the local community. Since we have reached capacity for this event, applications are no longer being accepted. We would like to thank everyone who applied to attend. There are still a few openings for the social event at Café and Restaurant SORA, so those interested can apply on the day of the event. (updated April 25 - 17:00)
