Toward Holistic College Admissions: The Cases from American, English and Japanese Universities

In today's society, it has become necessary for universities to shift to an admissions process that multilaterally and comprehensively evaluates applicants' ability, motivation, and aptitude. At this seminar, we'll learn from examples of universities from Japan, the UK, and the US who are taking the initiatives to perform these multifaceted, comprehensive admissions evaluations, as well as discuss the challenges and outlook facing admissions at Japanese universities going forward.
