Notice regarding the Graduation Ceremony

2015-3-25 (Wed) 11:00 a.m. -

The Graduation Ceremony for the 2014~2015 academic year will be held as noted below. In addition, Osaka University School of Law graduate OISHI Kanoko will hold a commemorative lecture.

Date and Time 

Wednesday, March 25, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. (projected ending time)
Admission to the hall begins from 9:30 a.m. Please plan to enter no later than 10:30 a.m.

Please note that admission to the venue terminates 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the ceremonies. In other words, persons coming after 11:00 may be refused entrance to Osaka Castle Hall.

Furthermore, please note admission tickets are required for entrance to the venue and that a maximum of 2 persons may accompany a person bearing an admission ticket. Participants in the graduation and commencement ceremonies will be informed on how they can obtain admission tickets through KOAN webpages.

Please note that parking is not available for this event, so we please ask that you do not come by car.

Commemorative Lecture

OISHI Kanoko

Managing Director, MEDIVA Co., Ltd




OISHI Kayoko is a 1983 graduate of the School of Law at Osaka University. After working for Nippon Life Insurance Co., she acquired her MBA at Harvard Business School. In 1988, she entered McKinsey and Co. as an administrator. After leaving McKinsey and Co., in 2000, she established MEDIVA Co., Ltd., a management consulting firm for healthcare facilities and nursing care businesses, where she serves as CEO. She has received the Nikkei Woman of the Year Award (2006), as well as the Harvard Business School of Japan Business Stateswoman Award (2014). 

Ms. Onishi appears as a graduate in Osaka University NEWS LETTER No. 64 (pg 19-20).
