46th Osaka University Courses Open to the Public

Osaka University was the first university that hold courses open to
the public in 1968. These courses were called Osaka University Open
Courses in the beginning, but the name was changed to Osaka University
Nakanoshima Courses and then again to Osaka University Kaitokudo
for the 21st Century Courses. This year's courses mark the 46th year of
courses open to the average citizen.
This year, under the common
theme of "Looking anew at being healthy" and "Taking a look at the
today's world,"courses will be provided.

In these courses, Sub-theme A classes (7 classes in all) and Sub-theme B classes (7 classes in all) will be held.

Applicants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until all seats are filled.
Participation fees
- ¥7,500 for all 7 classes of sub-theme A
- ¥7,500 for all 7 classes of sub-theme B
- ¥9,500 for all 14 classes of sub-themes A & B
- ¥1,500 per individual class

Certificates
A certificate will be issued to individuals who participated in six or more sub-theme A classes and seven or more sub-theme B classes.
How to apply:
Fill in an application form and send it by email or fax before the deadline. All those applying will be informed regarding the status of their application by email or phone.
Notes
Application period is designated by sub-theme, but a priority will be given to individuals who apply for all sub-theme classes in advance.
Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis; however, if the number of applicants exceeds the quota, a priority will be given to individuals who want to take all the classes.
Successful applicants must pay the participation fee to the bank account noted below in their own name during the application period. Please note that the bank transfer fee must be borne by the applicant.
