World's Leading Immunologists gathering at Osaka University

2012-10-29 (Mon) - 2012-10-31 (Wed)

How about attending your first International Symposium this autumn?

The organizers of TCUID 2012 look forward to welcoming OU students to this symposium. Whether you are a student interested in the English of medical care or a student majoring in Engineering, please come! Meeting and listening to researchers engaged in unusual areas of research can be very stimulating, giving you a new outlook.

This is a fantastic chance to talk with Professor AKIRA Shizuo, the world's most often cited scientist, other leading researchers in immunology, as well as learn about some of the most advanced research in the world. The symposium promises to be a stimulating 3 days what with keynote lectures, research workshops, all sorts of sessions, including poster sessions.

Thanks to the Funding Program for World-Leading Innovative R&D on Science and Technology (FIRST Program), the "Akira Project," the international symposium "Towards Comprehensive Understanding of Immune Dynamism" -- TCUID 2012 -- is being held from Monday, October 29 ~ Wednesday, October 31. Top researchers in immunology both from Japan and other countries will report on the latest research achievements. These same researchers will also exchange opinions in a panel discussion on the future of immunology.

This symposium aims to advance our understanding of the dynamic mechanisms regulating innate and acquired immunity by discussing works using a variety of techniques including imaging and systems biology. There will be particular focus on real time spatio-temporal observations of immune cellular and molecular dynamics and reactions by a list of world-leading researchers with expectation of significantly advancing the immunology field.

In the poster sessions you'll be able to discuss points with researchers conducting advanced research and noted researchers from overseas. Their ideas may inspire you. At the reception, get to know them! Then again, in the workshops for young researchers, practice improving your English presentation skills. You'll have chances to become friends with researcher conducting unusual research.

Take advantage of this great opportunity and attend TCUID 2012!
