IELTS (International English Language Testing System) to be held at Osaka University

2012-9-6 (Thu) 8:00 a.m. -

One of the most widely respected English-language tests in the world, IELTS (International English Language Testing System), will be held at Osaka University on Thursday, September 6. If you are thinking about studying abroad, or want to certify your English proficiency level, this is a test to take!

Prior to the test, an explanatory session and free crash course for IELTS will be held. An instructor familiar with IELTS will explain the trend in questions and strategies for succeeding in getting a higher score, citing examples from the test.

IELTS on-campus exam

Date & Time: Thursday, September 6, 2012, 8:00 a.m. ~ 6:00 p.m.

Registration starts at 8:00 a.m.

Venue: Toyonaka Campus, Osaka University (Your examination room will be noted on your admission ticket.)

Intended for: Osaka University students enrolled in the September 6 test.

Examination fee: 24,675 yen (includes tax)

Application deadline: Wednesday, August 1, 2012, 5:00 p.m.

IELTS

Explanatory session & crash course for IELTS

There is no admission fee for attending this session and class.

Date & Time:

  • Friday, August 10, 2012, 10:00 a.m. ~ 5:00 p.m.

Venue: Room A102, General Education Building, Toyonaka Campus, Osaka University

Intended for: Osaka University students enrolled in the September 6 test. Please note that these classes are limited to a maximum of 115 on a first-come, first served basis.

Individuals not enrolled for the IELTS on Thursday, September 6, are also welcome to attend this class.

Application deadline: Monday, August 6, 2012, 4:30 p.m.
