4th Tekijuku Workshop

2011-9-6 (Tue) - 2011-11-1 (Tue)

As part of a project to honor the achievement of Tekijuku, the Tekijuku Memorial Association has held Tekijuku Workshops since 2008 in order to view the paths OGATA Koan and his students took and discuss the historical role played by Tekijuku and its legacy. The 4th Workshop consists of three sessions beginning from Tuesday, September 6. The scientific and rational spirit of Tekijuku has blossomed in various fields in the modern era and has been passed on at Osaka University. The theme for the 4th workshop will be "The Development of Advanced Industrial Education and its Relationship with the Industrial Development of Modern Osaka." In this workshop, the audience will not merely be lectured; rather, much of the time will be devoted to question and answer time so that the lecturer and audience can discuss in the spirit of Tekijuku together.

It is hoped that many will attend these lectures.
