Pray to the gods when not in trouble. God provides for those who believe -- A hypothesis on why there are many religious Buddhists in Thailand

To commemorate the fifth anniversary of the founding of the Bangkok Center for Education & Research, a series of lectures are being held during a six-month period. The third lecture in this series is being held on Friday, January 21, with a lecture entitled "Pray to the gods when not in trouble. God provides for those who believe -- A hypothesis on why there are many religious Buddhists in Thailand" by ISHITAKA Shingo, Specially Appointed Assistant Professor, Global Collaboration Center (GLOCOL), Osaka University. Assistant Professor Ishitaka will share his ideas on 95% of Thais being Buddhist.
