Explanatory Session on Visas

The  visa consul of the Visa Section at the Consulate General of The United States Osaka will visit Osaka University on Friday, January 21, for explanatory session regarding F1 and J1 visas. This session will be an excellent  chance to hear from the officer in charge of visas. Students and persons wishing to study or do research in America as well as faculty and staff members in charge of study abroad programs are cordially invited to attend this explanatory session.

Date and time: Friday, January 21

Venue: Conference Room 2, 2nd floor, Convention Center, Suita Campus, Osaka University

  • 2:30 - 3:20 p.m. -- Part 1: Explanation for non-Japanese (international students and researchers) and faculty and staff in charge of overseas study programs. (This portion includes a question and answer session.)
  • 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. -- Part 2: Explanation for Japanese persons who intend to study or do research abroad as well as faculty and staff in charge of overseas study programs. (This portion includes a question and answer session.)
