Ishibashi Handai Film Festival

2010-11-19 (Fri) - 2010-11-20 (Sat)

A short film festival of films created by faculty, staff, and/or students of Osaka University and persons from the Ishibashi Shopping Mall will be held over two days on Friday, November 19 and Saturday, November 20. All the 14 works are less than 10 minute long and include footage of Ishibashi Shopping Mall and Osaka University.

The organizers look forward to seeing many in attendance.

The Eve of the Ishibashi Handai Film Festival 2010

Date & time: Friday, November 19, 2010, 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Venue: Open Seminar Room, Student Commons, Institute for Higher Education Research and Practice

An advance screening will be held on the eve of the Ishibashi Handai Film Festival with a showing of the 14 films submitted. Persons attending the screening will be asked to note their evaluation and comments on a simple evaluation sheet. Registration is not required. Moreover, attendance for the full 3 hours is not required -- you can come late or leave early! Please feel free to join us! For more information, click here.

 

Ishibashi Handai Film Festival Commemoration Event 2010 -- Showing of the Documentary Film on the Performance of Morino-oku 

Date & time: Saturday, November 20, 2010, 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.

Venue: Matching type Seminar Room, Student Commons

A documentary Morino-oku -- the Robot version, which was created and produced by Mr. Hirata and shown for the first time in the Aichi Triennale 2010, will be shown. Along with this film, a special interview with Mr. Oriza HIRATA, a film recorded exclusively for this event will also be shown. For more information, click here.

 

Ishibashi Handai Film Festival 2010 Awards Ceremony

Date & time: Saturday, November 20, 2010, 3:45 - 5:00 p.m.

Venue: Matching type Seminar Room, Student Commons

The awards ceremony is the last ceremony to crown the Ishibashi Handai Film Festival 2010. In addition to the Excellent Work Awards and the Most Excellent Award, a variety of awards will be announced. For more information, click here.
