New Distance Learning Courses
Distance Learning courses began at Osaka University in 1980 with "Osaka University Distance Learning Courses," and grew into "Kinki Area University Distance Learning Courses" in 1997. However, that role ended with the formation of an All-Japan University Distance Learning Network in 1998. Since that time, distance learning at Osaka University now makes use of the Internet to deliver course content with both image and sound.
