Office of Management and Planning (URA Department)

The Support Office for Large-Scale Education and Research Projects was established in July 2009 for the purpose of improving support systems for obtaining large-scale education and research projects, areas of concentration for Osaka University, and fortifying the planning and strategic functions for such projects.

Through integration with the IR (Institutional Research) Team at the Institute for Academic Initiatives, a team that had been involved in the collection, analysis, evaluation, and offering of data to contribute to strategic university management, the Office of Management and Planning was established on April 1, 2016.

The Office of Management and Planning was established for the purpose of supporting the leadership with university management by collecting and analyzing information necessary for determining policies and strategies as well as by making proposals on measures for rejuvenating  education, research, and social contribution at the university. The office serves as the URA Department at the Support Office for Large-Scale Education and Research Projects.
