1. Exciting Leading-Edge Research Projects
These projects support researchers aged 45 or younger engaged in promoting cross-sectional and interdisciplinary basic research at the university. In 2010, 52 applications were received for this initiative and four research projects were selected after screening and interviews.
2. "HISHO 30," The Top Thirty Young Researchers
This is a research support program for outstanding researchers aged 37 or younger engaged in individual research. In 2010, 217 applications were received for "Hisho 30" and 30 research projects were selected.
