Kaitokudo for the 21st Century

Kaitokudo for the 21st Century supports events and lectures for local citizens sponsored by the university's schools, graduate schools, centers, museum, and hospitals as a means of contributing to society. Kaitokudo for the 21st Century also promotes various university-industry cooperation activities with organizations both inside and outside of the university as well as with local municipal governments. Examples are Osaka University Nakanoshima Lectures, Handai-Asahi Nakanoshima Courses, and Kaitokudo for the 21st Century's i-spot Courses.

The active participation of Osaka University student in planning and organizing joint activities is strongly encouraged. Working with different persons and experiencing various university-industry cooperation projects is a source of positive growth for students.
