GLHS students make presentations at Osaka University

On Saturday, February 9, a joint workshop by 10 Global Leaders High Schools (GLHS) was held at Osaka University Hall. In this workshop, a group from each school made a presentation regarding a cultural or scientific theme. The themes ranged from social issues such as energy problems and the declining birthrate to Momotaro (Japanese folklore) and Grimms' Fairy Tales to Bunraku puppet plays, a traditional performing art in Osaka.

Each group decided how to handle the topic they chose, thereby deepening their involvement, and exercised their ingenuity in presenting their ideas and solutions. All in all, the presentations were excelllent.
Prior to their presentations, President Hirano delivered a keynote speech "Continue to Dream," challenging the students to explore the possibilities awaiting them.
