Osaka School of International Public Policy (OSIPP) Inamori Foundation Endowed Chair - "International Refugee Law Symposium"

2017-2-16 (Thu) - 2017-2-17 (Fri)

We'll hold a discussion on the legal protection of refugees, a topic that is currently shaking international society, from the viewpoints of international cooperation and public ethics. Certification of refugee status is a technical process that requires high levels of expertise and knowledge. Refugee law judges from the UK, New Zealand, and Australia will talk with us about how the Japanese system of refugee protection should advance moving forward from experience in their respective countries, as well as the potential of Japan. Anyone can join this lecture, so please feel free to attend.
