Exchange in Research and Education between Osaka University and Universities in Asia - CAREN in 2016

With aims to internationalize research and education at Osaka University, the Center for the Advancement of Research and Education Exchange Networks in Asia (CAREN) has been working since 2014 to with the goal of promoting the invitation of international students from universities in Asia, as well as arranging Double Degree Program agreements. We will be holding an open forum to report recent activity primarily in the fields of science, engineering, engineering science, and information technology, share the current status of internationalization with individuals from all departments at OU, and discuss the direction of activity moving forward. Those interested in an expansion of courses offered in English and aiming for an internationally-open Osaka University are encouraged to attend.
